I'm Mrithika — a B.Tech Information Technology student who builds predictive models, analytics dashboards, and clean software with Python, SQL, and a lot of curiosity.
The student behind the models
I'm currently pursuing my B.Tech in Information Technology at St. Joseph's Institute of Technology, Chennai, with a growing specialization in Data Science and Software Development. What started as curiosity about "how does the algorithm know that?" has turned into a genuine habit of pulling datasets apart, cleaning them up, and building models that actually predict something useful.
My work sits at the intersection of statistics, code, and storytelling — I like the moment a messy CSV becomes a regression line that makes sense, or a scatter of survival data becomes a dashboard someone can actually read. I've built models to forecast house prices, recommend movies, and visualize outcomes on the Titanic dataset — small projects, but each one taught me something about how data actually behaves.
Alongside my coursework, I've interned as a Data Analyst and Data Science Intern, where I moved from textbook theory into real workflows — cleaning data, visualizing it, and applying core ML concepts in Python. I'm now looking for an internship where I can take that same curiosity and turn it into shipped, useful data products.
